I know..wait for it..wait for it..you've all been dying to see my new closet that Dan and I worked on ALL last weekend. Well, here are the results of our weekend of labor. If you've seen my closets "before" you'll recognize the vast improvement!
So there's this great little place about 45 minutes away called Bridgeport where the longest single-span covered bridge in the U.S. is located.(Straight from the brochure!)It's beautiful as you can see and a great place for a little hike. So all you "city folk"... enjoy a little bit of nature!
Who doesn't love a good penguin video? In Port Stanley, Falkland Islands, we went off-roading to see a colony of penguins. They were very cute and very proper! These are Gentoo penguins.
Buenos Aires is a big city but when you travel out of the city you get to beautiful farm land where the gauchos used to roam. Here is a demonstration of how they would keep the horses together on long rides. The one with the bell is the "mother," and all the rest are trained to follow her.
After one of our excursions took us on a float trip down the Chubut River in Argentina, our "driver" picked up a guitar and he and his friend began to serenade us.
